Household, the creative agency specialising in experience-led design, today announces the brand new appointment of Kat McKinney as client services director.
Kat is joining the agency at an exciting time of continuous growth and new business wins. She brings with her over two decades of experience within brand and retail communication and activation, specialising in automotive, tech, alcohol and FMCG. Within this newly created role, Kat will complement Household’s expertise to help develop new holistic design solutions for both new and long-term global clients including the likes of Christian Louboutin, Amazon Prime and WarnerBros.
Her previous roles include business director at Grey London where she led key accounts including Volvo Car UK, Helly Hanson, Nestle, Gillette and Braun. As account director at WARL Group prior to this, Kat also spearheaded Diageo’s global retail launch of Bailey’s Chocolat Luxe that later went on to win ‘Best Innovation’ and ‘Overall Winner’ at Diageo’s Marketing Excellence Awards.
Kat McKinney said, “I’ve long wanted to work more deeply in the experience space and I was initially drawn to the calibre of the work and the types of brands Household associates with.”

This recent hire bolsters the Household growing team which has seen eight new hires in recent months, including Katie Walmsley who joined most recently as creative director of technology and experience from Landor & Fitch.
