Honda Motor Europe today announces the launch of the first of 96 pan-European customer websites to be rolled out throughout 2013. The new online experience has been built from the ground up in partnership with global marketing and technology agency LBi.
The new web presence is an ambitious launch for Honda, consolidating their varied product ranges onto a single centralised platform, with a complex integration of brand, data, systems and processes to ensure a leading experience that is efficient, consistent and measurable across all markets.
The new web presence, which is optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop devices, is launched today in Spain to the automotive business, before rolling out across all European markets throughout the year. The platform aims to enhance local capability, providing them with a best-in-class suite of tools. Central and local content is blended to cater for audience needs through high quality editorial and a unified experience.
LBi’s blended team of strategy, user experience, content, creative, technology and analytics experts has worked closely with a specialist Honda project team to devise and implement a user-centric digital presence which allows customers to engage with the entire Honda product range including cars, motorbikes, all-terrain vehicles and power equipment.
The platform tells the story of Honda’s rich brand and passion for craftsmanship. It guides potential customers through the product research and selection process, offering advice, guidance and over time will introduce new industry-leading features.
An editorial design style makes it easy for Honda to share bite-sized stories which are engaging for all types of users, from casual browsers to those doing in-depth research. It puts the products centre stage using space, bold photography and strong crops, all designed to show customers the quality of every detail.
LBi and Honda have created a design which brings to life the joy and optimism of the Honda brand.
