CP+B announced today that Hoj Jomehri has joined the agency as Creative Director in their Los Angeles office. At CP+B, he will work with newly appointed LA Co-ECD Sue Anderson on the agency’s Microsoft account.
Jomehri comes to CP+B from TBWA/Chiat/Day in New York, where he was Creative Director on ABSOLUT Vodka. While there, Jomehri helped to re-launch the brand globally with a slew of campaigns that included ABSOLUT NY-Z, I'm Here, 30 Days, Rock Edition, ABSOLUT Drinks, ABSOLUT Blank and ABSOLUT Greyhound. Prior to that, Jomehri worked at AKQA where he played a vital role in award-winning campaigns like the interactive portion of Halo 3: Believe and Nike Lab. At the beginning of his career, he worked in the film industry, doing production sound on a number of high-profile music video and commercial shoots. His work has been recognized with Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Clios and Obies, while his contribution to ABSOLUT resulted in a 2010 Emmy Nomination and a film premiere at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
