Hobby Film launches ‘Hobby Creative’, representing a roster of hand picked, world-class creatives
Hobby Launches Hobby Creative

To meet the growing demand for freelance creatives from agencies and brands alike, Hobby has launched a roster of world-class creatives including Cecilia Dufils, Rebecka Osvald, Johan Holmström, Kalle Haasum, Misha Ustinov, Oskar Bård & duo Jeff+Pete.

‘We’ve been searching like hungry truffle pigs to these rare & highly sought after creatives. With Hobby Creative we aim to lift them to the forefront and provide agencies & inhouse agencies easy access to their craft’, says Oskar Bård.

The roster includes creatives with experience at some of Sweden’s biggest agencies (F&B, Acne, Garbergs etc) as well as international names (BBDO Moscow, 72andSunny, Wieden + Kennedy) to coincide with Hobby's expansion onto the global stage over the last few years.

‘We’ve been representing world-class directors for years and see the similarities between how agencies look for and choose a director with the increasing demand for outside creatives from agencies & in-house agencies," says Oskar Bård.

In recent years, the advertising industry has been characterised by the increase in martech solutions. This is especially noticeable within the large networks who have heavily invested in martech solutions rather than new creative advertising agencies.

'We want to go in the opposite direction and create a platform for people with creative super talents. We believe in a wonderful renaissance for pioneering creative ideas. We also believe for the coming 10-15 it will be these super talented creatives creating these ideas. Then perhaps AI will take over. But by then we will all be busy either writing poetry or building bunkers.’ says Oskar.

Hobby is an international production company with headquarters in Stockholm and operations in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Oslo and shortly New York. Clients include brands such as H&M, Milka and Carlsberg and agencies such as Wieden + Kennedy, Adam & EveDDB and LEGO Agency. The Hobby family also includes Hobby Film, Hobby Studio and service production company Chubby Unicorn headquartered in Riga.
