Today we turn to BBH India's ECD Vasudha Misra who shares her favourite campaigns across television and social media including a commemoration to Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata through font and a reminder from Bollywood star Govinda not to take ourselves too seriously.
The Desi take on superheroes. It amplifies the brief with a sharp, clear idea that cuts through classes and masses. The craft and the humour make the idea shine.
There are the usual films with celebs that talk about the product with all the seriousness of the United Nations. And then there is this. A campaign done with has-been stars, that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The ad plugs in local shops and broadcasts them in these trying times. Sweet. Simple. Heart-warming. Kind of like the product.
I love the visual language done for this California based app. Clean and refreshing it restores my faith in the Indian design scene.
