Geometry, WPP’s end-to-end creative commerce agency, has announced the inclusion of global CEO Beth Ann Kaminkow to the HERoes Women Role Model Lists 2020, supported by Yahoo Finance. Beth Ann was named as a role model and champion in the HERoes 100 Women Executive List.
The three global lists celebrate the achievements of women in business and male champions who support them, showcasing individuals who are leading by example and driving change to increase gender diversity in the workplace.
“I am thrilled to be included among this prestigious list of top HERoes as a role model and advocate and appreciate Yahoo Finance for continuing to champion diversity and inclusion in business,” says Beth Ann. “We all play a role in giving the next generation of women leaders permission to become their whole selves and push forward a future that is gender balanced.”
As global CEO, Beth Ann is ensuring inclusion and diversity is on the agency’s business agenda, with specific focus on mentoring and supporting women leadership efforts across the global. She serves on the board of Geometry’s IE&D Council along with her business partner, Stacey Ryan Cornelius, global CFO/COO, and has helped to globalise programs like WPP Roots in order to champion greater ethnic and cultural diversity and inclusion with the creative industry.
Beth Ann also recently expanded WPP’s Stella network to North America, to help address the barriers that prevent women from progressing their careers and facilitate the sharing of information and best practices between its North America companies. Beth Ann has made it a priority to sponsor high potential talent across the organisation and in collaboration with World Woman founder, Rupa Dash, has conceived a program that will share 60 inspiring leadership stories as part of the upcoming World Women Hour event.
Externally, Beth Ann serves on the board of Newhouse at Syracuse University, where she mentors and provides a scholarship. She is also on the National Board of Back on My Feet, an organisation that uses running to address homelessness. A vocal advocate in the industry, Beth Ann is committed to setting new models that are fitting of a woman leader and relevant for today’s challenging world.
