HECK, the UK’s favourite sausage brand, have appointed London-based agency Fox + Hare as their new creative partner, with a focus on communicating their growing sustainability and purpose efforts.

One of Fox + Hare’s first priorities will be launching The H.E.C.K. Code - a new set of environmental and social principles, designed to showcase and strengthen HECK’s ongoing positive impact work. They kicked things off with a visit to the HECK farm in Yorkshire to peek behind the scenes, and see how the sausage is really made.

The public’s first taste of the H.E.C.K. Code has arrived on supermarket shelves in recent weeks: on-pack QR codes now direct customers to more information on HECK’s various ESG initiatives, with simple and clear language helping to build brand love and drive awareness. Written and designed in trademark HECK style, it’s a unique take on environmental responsibility: inspiring and innovative, without being overly worthy.


Founded in 2012, HECK are proudly family-owned, and make all of their sausages, burgers, meatballs and mince in small batches on their farm in Yorkshire. Their focus on doing good aligns them perfectly with Fox + Hare: a proudly independent B Corp® certified creative agency, whose clients include Countryside Properties, easyJet holidays, Revolution Bars Group, Britvic Group, The Big Issue, Action For Children and The Design Museum.
