Award-winning director Hayley Morris has joined th1ng Group’s Film Club Productions division for international commercial representation.
In making the announcement Dominic Buttimore, founder and CEO of the th1ng Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Hayley to the th1ng Group roster with our Film Club division, which is all about fostering new and emerging directorial talent around the world, and creating hand-crafted animated commercials, videos and films. Hayley, with her growing track record of commercial work, and award wins that have earned her industry recognition, fits into our roster remarkably well. We are delighted to welcome her to Film Club in New York.”
Hayley’s commercials, music videos and short films have been featured in film festivals worldwide. Her film UNDONE was honored as BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM at the 2009 Slamdance Festival. Her commercial work includes work for the Ad Council (McCann Erikson), Detroit Zoo (Doner), Paragard (Strikeforce), Haynes and Boone (Slingshot), Girl Guides of Canada (John ST Toronto), and HumanaOne (RAPP). She has also done work for Kate Spade.
Sue Loughlin, Executive Producer of Film Club, said: “Hayley tells stories. Using stop motion and hand drawn animation, she creates fantastical worlds. Her work is highly design based and draws on numerous skills and material that result in handcrafted signature details. She’s a unique talent and will make a great addition to our overall roster of directors, which now includes 15 directors worldwide.”
