Havas WW London Names Head of New Business

Havas Worldwide London has selected Jess Tarpey to drive new business at the agency, as it looks to build on a string of new account wins over the past year.

 

Tarpey will take on the role of head of new business with immediate effect. She is tasked with building on the success of Havas Worldwide London's constant of new business coups, which includes the integrated ad account for Mothercare earlier this year.

 

Promoted from her position as account director, Tarpey reports directly to chief executive Russ Lidstone, replacing Ken Mulligan.

 

Mulligan has moved to Adam & Eve DDB to handle the global Lipton account.

 

Tarpey has been an invaluable member of Havas Worldwide London's account team for four years, handling the award winning Dulux business, alongside work for Pernod Ricard's Chivas brand, Peugeot, and Ideal Standard, among others. She will retain some client responsibilities in her new role.

 

Before joining the agency, Tarpey spent time in-house at Skype, and as an account handler at agencies WCRS and Saatchi and Saatchi.
