Havas Worldwide Chicago announced today the appointment of Todd Nonken as Managing Director of its Citi account, the agency’s largest and longest-running client relationship. Nonken will be responsible for stewarding Citi’s growth strategies, acquisition marketing, and brand and customer experiences for the Citi’s Credit Cards and Retail lines of business.
Nonken is a highly accomplished, retail marketing professional with a track record managing iconic brands, growing businesses and designing innovative customer experiences. He joins Havas Worldwide Chicago from DDB Chicago where he was SVP - Integrated Brand Leader for North America for McDonald's Corporation, responsible for integrated planning and omnichannel execution. During his 10-year tenure on the McDonald's business, sales grew at unprecedented rates, as did market share and customer sentiment. McDonald's was awarded a Cannes Lion as "Creative Marketer of the Year" in 2014.
Prior to DDB Chicago, Nonken was General Manager of the Launch Project, a new product and innovation agency within TracyLocke Advertising and was Co-Managing Director at EURO RSCG Tatham leading the Walgreen's business, as well starting a newly created Promotions and Retail Merchandising Division there. He has also worked in Brand Management where he worked for both Nestle and Kraft Foods and his agency experience includes Frito-Lay, The Ford Motor Company and YUM! Brands. Todd is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism and earned his MBA at The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
