Havas UK’s creative agency Havas London and sport and entertainment agency Cake have bolstered their creative, digital and production teams with three significant, senior hires.
Patrick Cahill joins Havas London from adam&eveDDB as Joint Head of Integrated Production; Shirin Majid joins Cake from LADbible Group as Executive Creative Director; while Sally Barr joins from Saatchi & Saatchi as Head of Social across both agencies.
Cahill takes on joint responsibility for Havas London’s burgeoning production department alongside Katy Welsh, who joined as Head of Delivery in 2016. As Joint Heads of Integrated Production, the pair will drive an increase in scope, quality and quantity of output, with the department taking responsibility for ‘making’ of all kinds.
Majid will spearhead Cake’s creative team, while Barr, in a dual role, will lead social across Havas London and Cake clients including Molson Coors, GSK, EE, Barclays and STUDIOCANAL, as well as driving digital innovation across both agencies and playing a central role in Havas’ new business drive.

Cahill joins from adam&eveDDB, where he spent four years as Senior Producer, working on clients including Budweiser, Volkswagen, Lloyds, Haig Club, H&M and EA Sports. Prior to this, he spent nine years at German firm Grabarz & Partner, rising from Junior TV Producer to Head of Moving Image. He becomes Joint Head of Integrated Production at Havas London alongside Katy Welsh, who joined the agency as Head of Delivery in 2016. She previously held the same role at M&C Saatchi, and has also worked for Lean Mean Fighting Machine, OgilvOne, iris Worldwide and AKQA.
Majid joins from the LADbible Group, where she was interim Creative Director for its recently-launched in-house creative agency Joyride, overseeing all creative for new business and clients, as well as developing emerging channels. She has more than 20 years’ experience creating award-winning campaigns and content for brands such as Smirnoff, Spotify, Microsoft, Unilever, and UNICEF at agencies in New York and London, including Edelman, Splendid Communications, MullenLowe Profero, M&C Saatchi PR, Listen, and Weber Shandwick.
Barr joins following three years at Saatchi & Saatchi where she was the agency’s Head of Social Media, leading social accounts including Visa, Toyota, Rekorderlig and HomeAway. Prior to this, she spent six years at digital agency Brass Alt. Her role at Havas will be split 50/50 between Havas London and Cake.
