Havas New York has been honoured by The Drum Awards for Agency Business 2021 as Network Agency of the Year (500-999 employees) for “leading the future of work with heart and hunger.” The award celebrates agencies that have demonstrated innovative and brilliant thinking, leading to the building and development of their business, shareholder value, outstanding client experience, and a talented and engaged team. Havas New York CEO, Laura Maness, was also acknowledged for her leadership as a finalist for CEO of the Year.
As Havas Group’s North American flagship agency, Havas New York is home to diverse capabilities and brings to life the network’s global mission to make a meaningful difference to the brands, businesses, and lives of the people they work with.
Havas New York was honoured for changing the industry for the better by committing to the highest priorities that shape the future of equitable, responsible, and sustainable business. The agency’s focus on balancing purpose and profit, and ultimately viewing business as a force for good, has led to a more meaningful employee experience as well as a string of new business wins such as one of America’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies by Barron’s, JLL, and New York-Presbyterian, among many.
“This recognition is in celebration of our growth culture, our breakthrough creative work, and most importantly, our deeply engaged, mission-driven people,” said Laura Maness, CEO of Havas New York and Annex88.
The Drum Award for Network Agency of the Year follows a series of impressive industry accolades in recent years, including the Digiday WorkLife Award for Most Innovative Culture in 2018, being named a Best Places To Work by Ad Age in both 2019 and 2021, and winning the AdExchanger Award for Best Collaborative Agency Team in 2020.
The Drum made the announcements at a virtual event on Thursday, September 23rd, as part of its Agency Business Awards. You can find the full list of winners here and watch the recording of the event here.
