Leading media communications agency, Havas Media, has boosted its Managing Partners team, with the promotion of Kate Cox to Managing Partner, Strategy and Ideas and the appointment of Fiona McCann to Managing Partner, Head of Client Leadership.
Cox has been promoted from Head of Strategy to Managing Partner, Strategy and Ideas, replacing Hamid Habib, who earlier this year moved to OMD UK. Cox joined Havas Media in 2002 as Strategy Director on the National Lottery and Orange and has since worked on clients including AXA, P&O Ferries and EDF Energy.
With 20 years experience in the industry, Cox will lead the team to develop strategies that help clients stand out in the marketplace, make more meaningful connections with audiences and deliver stand out ideas. Cox will work across all Havas Media disciplines, from communications planning, idea facilitation, futures and innovation, digital strategy, data planning and analytics and effectiveness.
Meanwhile, Fiona McCann is taking on the role of Managing Partner, Head of Client Leadership, following the promotion of Natasha Murray to Managing Director in July during the company’s senior management restructure, which also saw the promotion of Paul Frampton to CEO.
McCann joins from Tag, where she was a Director and prior to that Managing Partner at MEC, working across a variety of sectors including entertainment, luxury and finance. In her role, McCann will be responsible for client relationships, leading the digital dialogue and bringing together the agencies talent to connect paid, owned and earned to deliver on the clients business objectives.
