Havas first obtained certification in 1997

The Havas Group renews the certifications of its Integrated Management System (SGI) for Spain and Portugal for one more year, which include ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality), ISO 27001: 2013 ( Information Security), as well as ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management).

Currently, both the company's media agencies and creative agencies have these certifications that highlight good management in its business processes, and that guarantee advertisers a reliable and quality job; as well as the robustness of a system that ensures the security, availability and integrity of confidential data, both in physical and Cloud environments.

The company obtained its first certification in ISO 9001 in 1997, being the first company in the sector to achieve this ISO. In addition, since 2007, the Havas Group has also been certified in the ISO 27001 standard.

For its part, the ISO 14001 certification was obtained for the first time in 2016, which has allowed the Havas Group to endorse the integration of the environmental management system into the company's business strategy and demonstrate its commitment to the environment. Commitment that the Havas Group acquired in that same year with the creation, together with other communication groups of 'Common Ground' , a working association to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted at the United Nations; for which the Group undertook to combat climate change and minimise its effects, ensuring the reduction of the impact of its activity and the improvement in the management of natural resources.

It should be noted that the achievement of 2020 certifications have had a differential element with respect to previous years, and that is that all the relevant audit days have been carried out remotely, due to security measures motivated by the current health situation. Furthermore, in this latest review of the Havas Group Management System, the auditors of AENOR, the certifying company, have highlighted two actions implemented by the company's Change Management team as strengths: the quality of the “awareness councils and training on remote work sent to employees during the period of confinement, as well as the environmental awareness campaigns promoted by the company in its objective to combat climate change, among which is the initiative 1 Kg = 1 tree That encouraged paper recycling and tree planting to fight deforestation."

David García, head of IT Iberia at Havas Group: “These certifications ratify the company's commitment in relation to the stability and maturity of its business processes, focused on customer satisfaction, quality, sustainability and continuous improvement. of their systems."
