Havas Chicago today announced that it has hired Jennifer Marszalek into a new role as Chief Talent Officer for the Havas Chicago village. Previously Vice President of Human Resources at Grubhub, Marszalek brings deep experience in high-growth technology and retail environments. She will be charged with helping shape the agency’s culture, creating a seamless employee experience across the integrated Havas Chicago Village, and scaling its workforce to drive business growth.
“Havas Chicago has been on an incredible transformation over the last several years. We have consistently achieved double-digit year over year growth, bringing on new clients and significantly expanding our talent base,” said Paul Marobella, CEO, Havas Worldwide Chicago Group. “Our industry is under intense pressure to evolve the value creativity brings to brands, and we are increasingly hiring from outside of the advertising industry—from start-ups and technology firms to business consultants, social media experts and content creators. Jennifer is ideal for the role because she is not only a seasoned HR leader, but she thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial cultures and understands what it takes to attract and retain top-notch talent in this highly competitive job market,” Marobella added.
The appointment of Marszalek as Chief Talent Officer of the integrated Chicago Village comes on the heels of a number of new business wins for the agency, including Moen, Ragu and Bertolli. Marszalek will be responsible for building a unified culture across the village in addition to focusing on the acquisition and continued development of talent.
“We are thrilled to have Jennifer join our talent team in Havas Chicago. It’s a time of dynamic growth and change, and our unique village structure brings together diverse talent from across our creative, media, data, content and studio teams. Yet at the core, there is one amazing culture that fuels it all,” said Patti Clifford, Global Chief Talent Officer, Havas. “Jennifer’s role will ensure integration and collaboration across every discipline,” Clifford added.
“I look forward to enabling everyone in the Village to enjoy the great employee experience that comes with being part of such an inspiring creative environment,” said Jennifer Marszalek, Chief Talent Officer, Havas Worldwide Chicago Group.
Prior to leading HR at Grubhub, Marszalek spent four years as the Head of Human Resources at SurePayroll, a subsidiary of Paychex, and more than eleven years in various HR and talent management roles with Room & Board home furnishings. Jennifer has a BBA in Marketing and an MSIR from Loyola University of Chicago.view more - Hires, Wins & BusinessHavas US, Wed, 25 May 2016 07:55:58 GMT
