The Havas Group has today announced BD Australia
has joined the Group to provide shopper marketing expertise and
services to complement its burgeoning Havas Village model. The move will
bolster the Group's offering for current and future e-commerce, FMCG
and retail clients.
Led by managing director Simon Porter and
ECD Tom Hoskins, BD Australia is a multi-award winning agency that
specialises in integrated retail and shopper marketing, creating ideas
to help brands and retailers achieve greater commercial process and sell
more products. Their involvement played a role in helping Havas win the
creative pitch for Bottlemart and SipnSave last year, and they continue
to support other business in the Village including Afterpay.
The BD team uses data analytics in the study of shopper behavioural
dynamics and behavioural economics to identify insights to aid smarter
decision making. This in turn helps unlock creative ideas that solve
business problems, ultimately driving commercial results.
who has 15 years of agency leadership experience in brand marketing,
has worked on leading brands including Sony, Vodafone, Microsoft, adidas
and Coca-Cola. He will report into Havas' Executive Management Team.

BD Team will be based from Havas' Sydney office but will operate
nationally. There are currently no plans to change their name.
