Charlie joins the sport, culture and entertainment agency from MullenLowe Group

Havas has hired Charlie Piggott as new business director responsible for sport, culture and entertainment agency Cake. She joins the award-winning Havas new business team spearheaded by global CMO Tracey Barber, and the Cake team led by managing director Rosie Holden. Charlie will be responsible for the growth of Cake’s already enviable list of clients, including EE, Carling, Paypal, the NBA and Gallagher, and helping to elevate the Cake brand in the UK. She will also be supporting the consolidated Havas new business team across the Havas Village media and creative agencies.

Charlie joins from integrated communications agency MullenLowe Group, where she headed up global new business for the CX activation network MullenLowe Open. During her time there, she was instrumental in winning several high-profile clients - including Danone, Sennheiser and Harley-Davidson. Previous to MullenLowe, she was marketing manager at Engine Sport (formally Synergy) and continues to support and help drive change for the Women in Football network.

Commenting on the appointment, Tracey said “We are excited to welcome Charlie as new talent into our team as we continue to drive growth across Havas. She will bring great expertise, energy and passion.”

Charlie added: “I’m thrilled about the career opportunity and business challenge that this role offers. Havas have an already very impressive client base and Cake have had a number of exciting new business wins to be proud of in the past 18 months, so I can’t think of a better time to be joining the team at Havas.”
