Havas Adwork welcomes on board Maulana Sagala and Norashikin Manjit as executive creative directors (ECD). Both Sagala and Manjit will report to Matt Wiggers, who was recently appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of Havas Adwork.
Sagala joins the agency with more than a decade’s worth of experience in the industry, starting out as a strategic planner for two years before moving on to be a copywriter at communications agencies such as LOWE, Ogilvy and Publicis. His background in planning has helped him to constantly generate creative ideas that answer to client’s business challenges and objectives.
In addition, his works have received both local and international recognition at awards shows such as Citra Pariwara, Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, One Show, AdFest, London International Awards and Adstars.
Previously at McCann Erickson, Manjit has been in the industry for over 15 years, starting out in Malaysia with clients such as Dunhill, Carlsberg and Malaysia Airlines. Since making her way to Indonesia, she has built a formidable reputation with Coca-Cola, Nescafe and L’Oreal.
Speaking about his appointment, Sagala said, “I’m extremely thrilled to be at Adwork because there is a growing potential in the Indonesian market in terms of innovation and creativity. I look forward to sharing my ideas as well as being a part of an exemplary global network.”
Commenting on her appointment,Manjit said, “Havas feels different from all the other multinational agencies I have been with. When I was first introduced to Yannick Bollore, CEO of the Havas Group, and Levent Guenes, Chief Operating Officer of Havas Worldwide SEA, I knew that I will continue to grow with an agency that believes in its people and most importantly, in its brands.”
Adding on, Wiggers said, “We are delighted to have both Roy and Norashikin on board with us. This will be an exciting new chapter for Havas Adwork because they will be a real asset to our portfolio as we strive to create greater creative services for our clients.”
