Harbour has been tasked with creating awareness for the suicide bereavement charity, Suicide & Co. It was set up by Amelia Wrighton and Emma Morrisroe last year as a direct result of their own personal experiences to give a voice & support to those who have lost someone to suicide.
Suicide&Co will support those bereaved through their counselling service and aim to start a much-needed conversation about suicide-related grief; to challenge the stigma and the complexity of emotions that those bereaved by suicide often feel.
Funds have been raised to date through the sale of limited edition prints & t-shirts, supported with PR campaigns that have gathered support from high profile mental health campaigners like Monica Lewinsky. The latest PR campaign is for their Mixed Feelings T-shirts that can be purchased for a limited time here. A wider awareness campaign will follow later this year.
Co-founder Amelia Wrighton commented on the appointment: “We’re thrilled to be working with the folks at Harbour. Strategically and creatively, they are a brilliant partner for us.”
Kevin Chesters, strategy partner at Harbour said: “We love what Emma and Amelia are doing. It's so positive and so very necessary. Suicide is a topic that touches so many lives, yet the stigma is real & this means too many people face it alone. We’re proud and humbled to be able to help them in whatever way we can and we’d love others in the industry to jump on board and help too”
Harbour were appointed without a pitch.
