FCB Global has announced that Happiness, an FCB Alliance based in Brussels, has been named among the Contagious Pioneers 2020; a global ranking of agencies setting the standard for industry excellence.
Throughout the year Contagious Magazine features campaigns which demonstrate the best in creative and strategic thinking on its intelligence database (Contagious I/O). Each agency named in the Contagious Pioneers list has been evaluated on the quantity of their work that has made it onto the I/O.
Happiness Brussels has surpassed its peers in consistently providing creative work of the highest order. Just to feature on the I/O platforms is a massive feat of dedication and talent. For that reason, Contagious have decided not to rank their top ten, instead celebrating every agency equally for passing the extremely high standard of the threshold.
Happiness Brussels’ chief creative officer, Geoffrey Hanston said: “I am surprised and humbled that we’ve been named among the best and bravest agencies of the year. I feel spoiled to be able to work with so many talented people and I am thankful to all my team for their support, their brains and their energy.”
Karen Corrigan, CEO of Happiness added: “This amazing recognition seems like a result of a vision that we consistently lived by since 2005: the belief that as from then, strong and groundbreaking communication would have to be the optimal symbiose between strategy, creative, and technology. Would have to embrace the web-technology. When we launched in 2005, we were in the very beginning of Web 2.0 or the Participative Web. Now we don’t see the end of the exponential changes that are brought to us by an exponential amount of data, by IOT, the emotional web, AI… Creativity will never be more important than tomorrow. Our profession never as exciting. We are looking forward to it. Just like Gasparov does. Because he also will have to use his creativity to beat Big Brother next time.”view more - Awards and EventsHappiness, Tue, 11 Feb 2020 14:44:23 GMT
