Hanson Dodge Wins State of Utah’s Office of Tourism Website Business
The state of Utah has awarded the five-year website development contract for its Utah Office of Tourism (UOT) to Milwaukee-based integrated marketing agency Hanson Dodge following a competitive review of agencies from across the country.

With more and more travelers visiting Utah’s national parks and top destinations, the redesigned website will help cultivate quality visits for the state through fresh thinking and new content in a highly visual design.

Hanson Dodge was chosen to redesign and support the development needs of after a government procurement-led search. The UOT’s previously contracted agency will officially transition the account on Aug. 15, 2019. New site work is expected to go live in January 2020 with iterative enhancements throughout the five-year contract.

“Hanson Dodge's team distinguished themselves in the UOT's website redesign procurement by bringing creative vision and innovative thinking to every stage of the process,” said Andrew Gillman, creative and content manager for the Utah Office of Tourism. “The result is a strategic and technical roadmap that promises a focused and strong collaboration for the years ahead.”

Hanson Dodge serves a diverse clientele that spans the U.S. and has rapidly gained recognition for expertise in the tourism space. Hanson Dodge’s work for VISIT Milwaukee captures the random and vibrant spirit of the city, has won more than 20 awards and helped the agency secure Utah's tourism business. Interestingly, the UOT is not Hanson Dodge’s first Salt Lake City-area client as the agency also recently added Creminelli Fine Meats to its portfolio.

“Utah Office of Tourism’s website is an important front door to tourists’ and locals’ exploration of this wonderful state. We at Hanson Dodge are grateful and proud to be trusted to strategically guide this important brand asset. We look forward to working in partnership with the ambitious and kind UOT team and their other communications partners, over the next five years, to achieve great results,” said Stacie Boney, president of Hanson Dodge.
