Hanson Dodge, an independent, digitally-expert, full-service agency based in Milwaukee, WI, has added two senior hires to help manage its increased volume of work brought on by a recent string of new business wins.
Sara Theis has joined the agency in the role of account director, overseeing the agency’s expanded KEEN footwear assignment, as well as its newly added Colectivo Coffee and Grand America Hotels & Resorts businesses. In addition, Mason Widmer joins as senior media strategist, primarily responsible for the agency’s newly added NOW account, along with other media businesses. Sara was most recently an account director at Omnicom’s GMR in Wisconsin; Mason was senior manager of addressable media at Grapeseed Media, with offices in New York and the UK.
“We’ve added Sara and Mason as part of our efforts to scale up to service our recent new business wins and to ensure that we are helping our new clients ‘to make the next great leap,’” said Stacie Boney, president of Hanson Dodge. “Sara brings significant experience successfully leading integrated, and deeply digital programs that have positively impacted her client's businesses. And Mason adds depth and digital expertise to our new in-house media and buying capabilities – skills that are especially applicable as we have taken on more and more Agency-of-Record assignments” Stacie added, “Attracting talent at the level of Sara and Mason also testifies to our ability to attract people from both inside and outside the Milwaukee region – something we would like to think is closely tied to our recognition as a 'Best Place to Work' for the past two years, per leading industry publications.”
At GMR, Sara led major programs for Chobani, Comcast and Nissan, gaining notable experience from a client/brand perspective. Mason's background includes expertise in programmatic, notably The Trade Desk and Amazon DSP, working for clients such as Broadway theaters, United Healthcare and 3M.
