gyro has appointed Stephen Brunt, formerly of TBWA Manchester and COI Strategic Consultancy, as new Head of Planning at their Manchester office. Brunt has led strategic planning across a range of both B2B and B2C clients, such as the Cooperative Group and BP, throughout his career.
His experience of translating brand strategies and campaigns into successful retail, direct and business-to-business activities will be put to good use as he heads up gyro Manchester’s Planning Team, working with clients such as Powwownow, Stoneridge and DuPont. He replaces Marie France van Heel, who after a prosperous two years at gyro, is leaving to pursue other avenues.
As Head of Planning, Brunt will continue to generate insights and inspirational ideas, bolstering strategic value to clients’ businesses as well as delivering brand strategy and long-term planning.
Danny Turnbull, Managing Director of gyro Manchester, said: “We have built an insight team that’s befitting our business’ client base and aspirations and the appointment of Stephen will allow us to move this on to a new level. He is bringing with him a combination of deep analytical expertise and creative empathy which sits perfectly with gyro’s mission to bring B2C standards to the B2B space.”
Stephen Brunt, new Head of Planning at gyro Manchester, said: “This is an exciting time to be joining gyro. They have a great team, a fantastic ethos and an approach with real stand out in the industry. I'm really looking forward to immersing myself in the role and helping to deliver even stronger performance.”
