Gumtree.com, the UK’s number one classifieds site, has appointed Fold7 as its new lead creative agency.
Fold7 was awarded the business after a four-way competitive pitch. The appointment comes off the back of some impressive growth for the brand, that has seen its UK reach extend to 18% from 13% in 2011, with over 8 million unique visits per month now coming to the site (according to Comscore).
Fold7’s advertising for Gumtree will break in early 2013. The agency will be responsible for creative strategy, advertising and brand communications.
