Brand has been client of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners for 20 yearsv
Goodby Silverstein & Partners has launched its latest work for its client of 20 years, Foster Farms. Kinda hard to believe, but the agency introduced the Foster Imposters way back in 1993. The client took a leap of faith with them when they told them that the best way to get a premium price for a premium product was to promote it with the dirtiest, cheapest-looking puppets you've ever seen.
Keeping an enduring idea alive means after 20 years and more than 40 commercials, each new iteration of the campaign need a fresh perspective, and Foster Farms must continue to find ways to keep the brand relevant to changing consumers.
As such, consumers are growing increasing health-conscious and cued into labels. And with great pride, our client was recently named the first and only poultry provider to carry the American Humane Certified seal from the American Humane Association. This latest Foster Imposters campaign will get people looking for the seal the next time they’re in the store.
In these two new spots, the Imposters bring their classic exaggerated attempts to persuade people they were raised on Foster Farms. Of course they’re busted as hacks and end up landing on their dark meat.
