As part of our new 'Create. Promote .Roar.' series we share our top tips on how to get more views on your news, work and profile on LBB

Growing Your Profile: How to Get More Views on LBB
LBB is not simply a publication for you to find the latest advertising news, but a tool to help your company shine. Paywall-free, international, and visited by over 300,000 readers a month, there’s loads you can be doing with your membership to grow your views and have your work showcased across the globe.

Every story on LBB is guaranteed to be shared on our Twitter account, and has the potential to be featured in our daily newsletter - which is distributed globally to over 20,000 subscribers. But there’s so much more you can be doing to give your stories an extra push.

Here, we’ll tap into some of the easiest ways you can boost views on your stories, from finding the most relevant topics for op-eds to socialising articles across other platforms.

Sharing on Socials

It’s super easy to share an LBB story on social media. In fact, it’s only one click away. Across the top of every article on the site, you have the ability to share on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and more. Check out the video below to see how hassle-free it is:

Tip:
To really boost your exposure on socials, be sure to tag any company involved with the story to your post. Not only will this draw more eyes to the post, but prompt other companies to re-share the article themselves - driving even more traffic.

Finding the Perfect Topic

Whilst you should always be sharing your latest campaigns and company news, there’s also loads of cultural events across the year that you can use to your advantage. Has your agency always had a great history of Valentine’s Day campaigns? Why don’t you craft a retrospective look at that work in February? Have a strong opinion on political campaigns? Why not write an op-ed to coincide with Joe Biden’s inauguration?

Timing articles to coincide with relevant topics, both in the industry and culturally, will attract readers looking for timely articles - and position you as an authority on the subject. You can even find some important dates for early 2021 right here

Tip:
Have you heard about our Influencers newsletter? Every two weeks, we distribute a specific newsletter focused on thought leadership articles from our members. If you’ve spotted an industry trend you just can’t shake out of your brain, you can voice that opinion on LBB and pitch it to our Influencers channel via newsdesk@lbbonline.com.

Automatically Feed Your Website with YOUR LBB articles

Not only can you share all your stories across social media, but LBB gives you the ability to embed a feed of your articles in your own website. This means when you publish a story on LBB it will simultaneously appear on your website too.

On your LBB page there is an icon which will generate an embed code for your own personalised RSS feed. You can do this or give it to your developers to format it in line with your own website design.

See how the APA have done this on their website here. If you'd like more help setting this up from us, contact support@lbbonline.com

Still Want More Guidance?

We’ve got a number of handy videos on LBB’s Help page, guiding you through everything you need to know about using the site. From using your dashboard to building collections, there’s loads you can be doing with your membership.
