Earlier this year, Grolsch launched their global campaign “Celebrating 400 Years of Originality’”, to mark the 400th anniversary of the premium Dutch lager brand. But, as with any good birthday, they didn’t want the celebrations to stop there.
In the latest social activation campaign from VCCP Kin, Grolsch continues its theme of celebrating originality by teaming up with art collective Graffiti Life. By tweeting #Grolsch400 or commenting on relevant Facebook posts with an image of themselves, Grolsch fans will have the opportunity to win one of 400 truly unique profile pictures, created by an array of different street artists and professional graffiti artists attributed to Graffiti Life. These one-of-a kind pictures will then be shared across Grolsch’s social channels with a selection hosted on Canvas, which celebrates the best in contemporary (and not-so-contemporary) culture from around the world.
The images will sit alongside a wealth of exciting content that includes interviews with the artists, behind-the-scenes footage and articles discussing famous portraits throughout history.
Chris Lawson, Creative Director at VCCP Kin, explained; “We all love sharing interesting stuff on our social feed, it’s even better when that interesting stuff features ourselves. With our new #Grolsch400 Original Profile Pictures campaign we’ve combined the two. We’re giving 400 people the chance to have their profile pictures transformed by an artist from art collective Graffiti Life.”
