Committed to growing its already strong presence in the Nordic region, Grey Europe has promoted Rolf Bach, CEO of Grey Denmark, to the additional new role of CEO Grey Nordics. Rolf Bach will report directly to Alain Groenendaal, Grey Europe President and CEO.
In his new role leading the Nordics, Rolf Bach will play an instrumental role in developing growth plans, exploring business opportunities and finding ways to better service clients across the Nordic region.
The new management position further strengthens Grey’s capabilities and position in the region, with award-winning network agencies in Denmark (UncleGrey), Sweden (SCPGrey & INGO), Finland (GREY SEK) and affiliate partner TRY in Norway. Rolf Bach joins Mads Aagaard Winther, CFO Grey Nordics, in the regional management team, with Lars Samuelsen, Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Digital Grey Nordics, adding further strategic support.
Groenendaal commented: “Grey has a long term commitment to strengthening our presence in the Nordics. As more and more clients in this region are looking for agency partners to help drive growth across markets, we want Grey to be their go to network.”
Rolf Bach added: “We live and breathe the Grey mantra of ‘Famously Effective’ which we firmly believe generates work that impacts both culture and business results for the client. Given the proven creative track record that the individual agencies in our Nordic setup can demonstrate there are exciting possibilities by working closer together. I am very much looking forward to unfolding this potential together with all my Nordic colleagues to the benefit of existing and potential clients”.
Rolf Bach joined Grey Denmark in October 2011, having previously spent more than 17 years in various media agencies as Media Planner, Client Services Director and Managing Director.
