Green Stone, a leading design consultancy, recently hired Tara Greer to serve as their new Chief Experience Officer. Tara is a veteran UX and creative director with nearly two decades of experience in the design industry and more than 90 awards under her belt for work with major brands like Nike, VW, Taco Bell and Converse.
“We’ve been extremely proud of Green Stone’s work and sustained growth over the first four years of our journey, but Tara is going to take us to another level.” said Matt Walsh, CEO + Founder. “She brings a combination of experience, skill, vision and integrity that will elevate our capabilities, our culture and our clients for years to come.”
Tara added: “I was instantly drawn to Green Stone’s remote-first culture and to the totally new ways of thinking about running a design organization that it fosters. The sense of collaboration, the positive, flexible and self-motivated culture and the quality of the work at Green Stone are all uniquely enabled by today’s technology in a way that would have been impossible even 5-10 years ago. Helping to build a totally new kind of design company with this talented team and roster of clients is a real privilege.”
Prior to Green Stone, Greer worked for Deutsch LA, the biggest full service agency on the West coast, leading their product design practice across all clients including Taco Bell, VW, Target, Pandora and Sprint. Before Deutsch LA, Tara worked at R/GA for eight years, moving through the ranks from UX designer to Executive Creative Director. There she worked extensively on the Nike account, leading the team which launched the Cannes Titanium Grand Prix-winning Nike+ Fuelband project. She helped open R/GA’s LA office with anchor client Beats by Dre.
