Great Clips, a Minneapolis-based hair salon franchise brand, has hired The Tombras as its media agency of record following a six-month competitive review. With more than 4,350 locations across the US and Canada, Great Clips is the largest franchise salon business in the world.
The outcome of the review, which was led by Ark Advisors, means Tombras is responsible for comprehensive planning and buying across a range of integrated media, including TV, radio, digital, social, search, programmatic and OOH. In addition, Tombras will utilise proprietary, AI media buying to optimise its media mix. The approach builds sophisticated lookalike audiences that helps optimise customer acquisition – to target the ideal customers and drive traffic.
