Grant’s whisky has appointed Inferno as its lead creative and strategic agency following a competitive pitch against VCCP, Ogilvy, BSUR and Fred & Farid.
Working with Grant’s global and local brand teams, Inferno is charged with developing a communications platform to help re-ignite the brand in established markets and drive it across Latin America, Africa and Asia. The multi-media campaign is expected to launch in the first half of 2014.
Shane Hoyne, Grant’s Global Brand Director said “We are delighted to have appointed Inferno after a very competitive pitch process. Their strategic insight into our brand, brilliant teamwork and creativity really stood out. Through the Captology network they provided local intelligence and market understanding to a level we didn’t find elsewhere. We are excited about working with them in launching our new brand world.”
Al Young, Inferno’s Chief Creative Officer, said: “It’s not often you get to work on a brand with such a strong pedigree. The Grant’s team has worked hard developing a positioning that is genuinely insightful. We are proud and thrilled to help write a new chapter in the Grant’s success story."
