Graham Budd Joins Newly Merged VFX-Content Powerhouse

This autumn, award-winning Montreal-based Rodeo FX acquired audio and experiential production experts BLVD-MTL in a synergistic move for the two companies. Now they’ve added former Array of Stars partner Graham Budd to head up experiential and innovation projects in Toronto.

Graham, an award-winning industry veteran, is ready to accelerate plans to attract ambitious projects and companies from around the world with top-tier creative and technological expertise alongside Vahid Tizhouch, executive director of the Toronto location of Rodeo Production, the high-end photography division of the company as well as BLVD-MTL and Rodeo FX.

"Our clients want really smart, cutting edge creativity to reach their customers," said Graham. "The teams at BLVD-MTL, Rodeo Production and Rodeo FX are uniquely equipped to deliver that level of ingenuity with high-caliber end-to-end production, a stable of directors and artists, and all of that combined with some of the best visual effects artists in the world. I'm excited to join the team and bring this firepower to our clients."

Nellie Kim, partner and executive creative director at LG2 Toronto, added: "Now more than ever, we're challenged to do more with less. Graham and BLVD-MTL have been really valuable partners in meeting those challenges with our clients and helping us deliver great campaigns while finding smart ways to bring longevity to the brand assets."

The merged companies currently work with entertainment giants including Disney, Netflix, Amazon Studios, plus the Montreal Canadiens, and global agencies like Sid Lee and LG2.

TV and film industries in Toronto are growing and Budd with the newly merged company plans to respond to that growth with these expanded teams and production facilities. “We’re going to be able to serve our clients well here in Toronto but also internationally.”
