Jonathan and his family died in a tragic plane crash on Sunday morning
As you may already be aware, the Goldstein Music Group received the devastating news earlier this week that Jonathan Goldstein, his wife Hannah and their baby daughter Saskia died in a plane accident in Switzerland. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly traumatic and harrowing time for all of us at the company. The relationship Jonathan had with his team transcended business, and we are all mourning the loss of a dear friend. We will all miss him so much.

There are very few comforts at a time like this, but we all feel blessed to have known Jonathan and feel grateful for the opportunities he has provided. In recent years, the company has largely been run on a day to day basis by Matthew Lawrenson and Imogen Pring, with Jonathan acting in an executive capacity. Jonathan always put such great faith in us, and we now intend to repay that faith by granting him the legacy that we know he would have wanted.

Our clients have been wonderful. We have received so many messages of support and it has been truly heart-warming.

Even at this difficult time, we feel it is essential that we offer the most comprehensive assurance to all of our clients that our commitment to honouring Jonathan’s legacy means that the show will go on. We remain fully available to assist you, as always, alongside our team of producers, music supervisors and our talented roster of composers. The Goldstein Music Group will thrive under our watch and every future success will be a nod to our friend.

The Goldstein family have offered magnificent support to us. At a time when their own loss must be unbearable, they have made the time to reassure us that they are fully behind the company moving forward.

We are being regularly asked whether there will be a memorial service for Jonathan, Hannah and Saskia. There certainly will be but we are not yet able to say when and where it will be. We will keep you posted.

Thank you again for your messages of condolence and your kind thoughts. Our hearts are broken but they will mend, and that will be – in part – because of the support we have received from all of you. Thank you.
