Johnny Foreigner director Michael J Ferns directs this new ad for Thunes, whose global payments network extends to even the most hard to reach corners of the world. Finding a location which could provide set ups to communicate the world in one shoot was a bit of a challenge, but one which the director relished.
In his own words, Michael Explains: “We shot this spot on a backlot in Cape Town with the fantastic service production company, Cineco. This allowed us to ‘travel the world’, as it were, in just a few day shooting. The split-screen match frames were a fun technical challenge but we wanted to ensure that this device never slowed the piece down. It needed to be full of cinematic energy and movement.”
