Having worked for leading international companies including Google, Emma Rhys is returning to Australia as Head of Digital & Integration at multi media company KOJO.
The highly experienced digital creative producer is back from London to re-join the company where she worked before moving overseas.
KOJO Chief Executive Loewn Steel said Emma’s appointment was the latest in a series of strategic recruitments to cement the firm’s position at the forefront of digital.
“We’re excited to have Emma back at KOJO,” Ms Steel said.
“Emma has forged an international career as a creative digital producer and earned a reputation as a dynamic and highly effective storyteller.
“She has worked in London in senior roles with some of the world leading companies including Google, Endemol and Anomaly. She has also worked on campaigns for well-known brands including Budweiser, Sony, Virgin, Ford and the BBC.
“She will be a major asset for our growing list of national and international clients.”
Ms Rhys’ appointment comes with KOJO in the midst of an aggressive growth path.
“Our increased digital and creative capabilities are really striking a chord with the corporate sector,” Ms Steel said.
“We are expanding our range of digital work with existing clients and we’re in close discussions with several major national and international groups for exciting new digital projects here and overseas.
“We’ve lifted the bar considerably and the market is responding. The outlook is very positive.”
KOJO has invested significantly in its talent to remain at the forefront of evolving technology and industry trends. Last month it appointed renowned industry storyteller Mike Wilson to the newly created position of National Creative Director as well as expanding its team of directors.
Ms Steel said the latest appointment of Ms Rhys was in line with the firm’s strategy to expand its digital, events, entertainment and experiential offering, particularly along the eastern seaboard.
Ms Rhys takes up her position from June and will split her time between the firm’s Adelaide and Melbourne offices.
“I like to work with the renegades and the trail blazers,” Ms Rhys said.
“KOJO has this reputation and I am excited to be joining their highly respected team.
“It’s great to be back.”
Celebrating its 21st year, KOJO specialises in content, digital, events and post production with offices in Adelaide and Melbourne servicing national and global clients.
