Touching story from TBWA\Dublin follows a young boy adapting to a new community

Glenveagh, one of Ireland’s leading homebuilders, announced the launch of the next chapter of their Love Where You Live brand campaign, with a heart-warming video ad. The ad introduces Bobby, a young boy who moves with his family into a new Glenveagh house, and follows his story as he goes through the struggles of adapting to living in a new community and making friends.

Unsure of his new circumstances, he is a little reticent at first and reluctant to fully embrace the change, despite the warmth of his new surroundings and the encouragement of his family.

Throughout the spot, Bobby goes on to experience the many positives of a new A-rated efficient Glenveagh home first hand – spacious kitchens and family rooms, a bedroom just the way he likes it, technology that connects him and his parents, making his new home feel modern and sometimes magic, space to play outside, and of course, people his own age to befriend.

When Bobby realises and experiences all the positives and joy of his new home, as much as the community he is now a part of, he truly feels home.

Speaking on the launch of the new campaign, Cameron McDonnell, head of marketing at Glenveagh, said, “Moving into a new home is an emotionally charged part of life. For some there’s the unfettered joy of what’s to come, while for others there’s initial uncertainty before finally warming to new surroundings. In Glenveagh’s new brand campaign, we chart that journey for one young boy, Bobby.

For Glenveagh, a sense of community, as much as efficiency, design and modern construction technology, is a key element of our homes and where we build. That’s the kernel of our Love Where You Live platform and we remain committed to building and enriching lasting communities that thrive.”

The campaign will run nationwide from today through November, across TV and VoD, as well as OOH, digital OOH, digital advertising, digital audio, social and radio.
