Gigantic features creatives who are repped by Giant and talented independents from beyond the roster

The Pride Issue of Gigantic, an online culture magazine produced by Giant Artists, went live on June 1st, to coincide with Pride Month. Giant Artists chose to make Pride the theme because representation and visibility continue to be essential.

In this issue, there's Grace Rivera sharing a preview of her ongoing project about her friend Leigh’s experience as they transition; Myles Loftin presenting portraits of ballroom legends House of LaBeija’s New York City chapter, which he recently joined; Emily Monforte exploring “Queerness Beyond Desire” in a photo portfolio shot in Southern California; Stevens Añazco, who was a 2021 mentee of Space for Change and Giant Artists, and Qori Camargo—a.k.a. Dollhouse—serving a self-portrait project influenced by pre-colonial South American Incan art and European art history; Eric Hart Jr. reimagining classic Calvin Klein underwear ads through a modern, queer lens; a portfolio of Chloe Sherman’s photographs documenting the queer scene in San Francisco in the 1990s; and DJ Couples Therapy, who spin at the hugely popular Divorce party at Bar Franca in downtown Los Angeles, offering up a Pride playlist.

There’s also beautiful new work by Emily Shur, Todd Cole, Jessica Antola, Marcus Smith, and Jen Garcia.

Gigantic features creatives who are repped by Giant and talented independents from beyond the roster. Explore the Pride Issue at giganticmagazine.com.
