The third day of 23rd Golden Drum was defined by the slogan 'Inspired to Inspire'. Festival workshops, excellent speakers and discussions offered delegates new challenges, knowledge and even opened up several new creative insights.
"You can make a real big thing as long as you're authentic," said Darre van Dijk, Chief Creative Officer, TBWA/Neboko Amsterdam. Rather than the usual commercials, he encourages people to make funny and engaging videos.
Emily Hare, Managing Editor of Contagious Magazine and the I/O intelligence platform pointed out the importance of having purpose: "For me, this is the most important. This means asking yourself — why do you exist as a brand? People want to buy from a brand that has a purpose."
"Stay true to yourself," said Folker Wrage, Chief Creative Officer, Havas Worldwide, Switzerland. "One toxic employee wipes out the value of two superstars."
Michaela Christine Wolf, Luxury Marketer, Michaela Christine Wolf Ltd, Austria, emphasised the need for recognising the client’s needs: “You have to start listening to what a customer needs and then cover it with the right communication.” She also said that it's important for clients to be in contact with people who understand their needs. “Maybe you must have an expert there in order for people to connect.”view more - Awards and Events
