Get Back in the Gym with Hatch London and DW Fitness' National Fitness Day Campaign

The days are getting shorter, the temperature is on the decline and any memories of lazy summer afternoons are beginning to feel like distant memories. 

It doesn’t seem to matter how old you get, the back-to-school feeling is still as prominent as ever. Although, nowadays it’s less about new books and baggy blazers, and more about embracing a healthier diet and getting back to the gym after a long summer off. 

This is the feeling that Hatch demonstrates through its latest campaign with DW Fitness First. Through a series of ads, the key insight behind the creative was to drive people towards pushing the ‘reset button’. 

And what better time to get involved at DW than National Fitness Day - an annually held event across the UK, set up to encourage people to come together and celebrate an active lifestyle - helping to raise awareness for the importance of keeping fit to our lives.

Recognising that importance, DW Fitness First are offering the first five weeks of an annual gym membership free - if you join one of their clubs across the UK today, during National Fitness Day. The offer goes live today, in conjunction with National Fitness Day, shown through a further series of ads created by Hatch. 

Set predominantly at DW’s Bishops Gate gym, with taglines like ‘Recommit, Reengage and Re-energise’ shown visually and through V/O, the campaign works to uplift and motivate viewers into restarting their fitness journey at DW Fitness First, ending with the classic DW tagline ‘Great Starts Here’. 

Shot on an Alexa mini, the ad comprises of short, sharp shots, along with sound effects, that illustrate the fast paced atmosphere within a DW Fitness First Gym. The commercial showcases the wide range of facilities at their gyms, as well as the latest collection of apparel available in store. From high energy spin classes, to solitary laps in the pool - the campaign aims to show that when it comes to fitness - DW has it all. 

Working closely with Electric Glue, DW’s innovative strategic planning and buying agency, Hatch executed a set of commercials that best represents the brand, with a strong call to action that leaves viewers feeling inspired to get involved.
