Get a Load of This: Scotts Canada Introduces Freshly-Cut Grass Scented Lawndry Detergent

Lawn care company, Scotts Canada, has created a freshly-cut grass scented Lawndry Detergent. It’s a new laundry detergent from Canada’s most recognised lawn care brand and, yes, it smells like freshly-cut grass. So now Canadians can enjoy the fleeting scent of summer all year round.

“This has been a long, challenging winter. As the leaders in lawn care, we wanted to inject a bit of summer back into the lives of Canadians craving the scent in a way that’s both playful and natural for the brand” said Glenn Martin, director of marketing at Scotts Miracle-Gro Canada.

Canadians can win a free bottle of Lawndry Detergent by sharing their love for the scent of fresh-cut grass with Scotts. The campaign is being supported across Scotts social channels and includes an integration with influencers.

“Fresh cut-grass scented laundry detergent is a way to keep Scotts top of mind, even during the winter months. Once we had the idea, the name Lawndry wrote itself.” said Loretta Lau, creative director at Rethink Canada.

The scent of the all-natural detergent was developed with The Soapworks, a natural soap company located in Toronto. Creative agency Rethink developed the campaign, media is being handled by Wavemaker, with MSL leading community management.
