Tomorrow's GERETY TALKS session will put Mischief's Bianca Guimaraes, R/GA's Bernice Chao and MRM's Melissa Ditson in the spotlight and at the centre of the conversation
Gerety Awards has announced tomorrow's GERETY TALKS on American Creativity. Airing Tuesday 16th March at 17:15 CET / 11:15 EST, Gerety Talks American Creativity features Bianca Guimaraes, executive creative director at Mischief USA; Bernice Chao, creative director at R/GA; and Melissa Ditson, chief creative officer at MRM U.S. West.
Bernice believes in the power of using creativity for good and has worked for clients in a broad range of industries like Google, Airbnb, Nissan and HBO. She has been listed on ThinkLA's top Women of Colour in Advertising, she is a teacher and mentor and donates her time to several non-profit projects like TEDxCulverCity, GreenWorld Campaign and Light Bringer Project. She is part of the Gerety executive jury for 2021 for the USA.
Melissa joined MRM in 2019 as chief creative officer of the US West office to define the creative vision and deliver creative excellence for their clients, Cisco, Microsoft, Panasonic, USPS, Verizon, and many more. Her award-winning career has spanned 20 years leading agencies in London and New York. She was shortlisted for The Drum Creative Women of the Year in 2017 and named one of MarComm's Magnificent Women in 2019. She was part of the Gerety executive jury in 2019.
Bianca is the maverick behind cultural thunders like Thinx's 'MENstruation' and 'The Epidemic' - the latest instalment of an anti-bullying drive in which Bianca has worked hand-in-hand with Monica Lewinsky. She joined Mischief @ No Fixed Address in 2020 as a founding partner and - in the space of just a few months - made global noise with prominent campaigns. She was named Business Insider’s ‘30 Most Creative People in Advertising Under 30’ in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 and was part of the Gerety executive jury for the USA in 2019.
