Prior to the shortlist announcement due Tuesday, June 15th and following the Canadian judging session, the Gerety Awards, the only creative prize to reward the best in advertising from the female vision, announces that Taxi is Canadian agency of the year and Grayson Music is Canadian Production company of the year.
Agency and Production Company of the year by country is chosen by the local juries from the portfolio cut and requires a single film no longer than five minutes in length that includes up to three pieces of work from the past 12 months.
Taxi Canada was awarded for its portfolio cut entry that included work with Smells Like Inequality, Audi Door Exit Warning System (Rhino, Vikings & Statue) and Shoppable Girls.
“Wow! Agency of the Year! This is all thanks to the hard work of everyone at TAXI, in every department, and all our clients who push us to be our best every day. To win through the eyes of this powerhouse female jury feels like an exceptional honour,” say Alexis Bronstorph and Kelsey Horne, co-CCOs TAXI.
Grayson Music was awarded for its portfolio cut entry that included work with, "Not Today" - CAMH, "The Firefly" - Campbell's and "Welcome to the Flavourhood" - DoorDash.
Bridget Flynn, partner and chief operating officer at Grayson Music said: “This award means everything to us. The past year and a half has been an insane ride. Special thanks to our incredible team, and to our clients and creative collaborators for letting us help them bring their amazing ideas to life. It led to 2020 being one of our most creatively inspired years ever.”
