Georgia Barretta Joins Geometry Global as Head of Design

Former Saatchi & Saatchi Design Director joins agency

Geometry Global, WPP’s global activation agency, has appointed former Saatchi & Saatchi Design Director, Georgia Barretta, as its new UK Head of Design. With a wealth of industry expertise, she will help to drive the agency’s creative capacity for brands across channels.

As part of her new role, Barretta will be responsible for the development and direction of Geometry Global’s design department, helping to enhance its creative offering by building inspired visual language into the heart of the work it produces across all disciplines. She will report directly in to Daniel Hennessy, UK Chief Creative Officer.

With over 13 years in the advertising industry, Barretta has a depth of experience in design leadership roles on an international scale, working in offices across Switzerland, France, US and Australasian regions. This experience includes holding Senior Art Director roles at G2 New York and Saatchi & Saatchi Paris. While Design Director at Saatchi & Saatchi X’s London office, Barretta lead the integrated design for high-profile brands, as well as being credited with setting up the agency’s 2D and 3D design department.

Barretta is widely recognised throughout the industry as a regular commentator and expert across all areas of design and was also a juror for this year’s D&AD and Roses Creative Awards.
