Geometry, WPP’s end-to-end Creative Commerce Agency, garnered 25 awards, including four Gold, 12 Silver and nine Bronze at the Círculo de Oro, hosted by the Creative Circle of Mexico. The wins helped them solidify a third place ranking as Best Agency in Country.
The agency’s work on the Mexican Red Cross fundraising campaign, ‘The Red Cross Calls You’, picked up four Gold awards across the Printed Craft and Craft Audio categories, continuing the campaign’s winning streak.
Juan Jose Posada, Geometry’s executive creative director, LATAM, and chief creative officer, Geometry Mexico, commented that these wins were the result of several elements: “First of all, our clients: they are the ones who partner with us in having a different and innovative vision to communicate; Next our team: from Geometry Mexico’s CEO Allan Muñoz to the trainees. Our production allies are another key factor in this success. Central Films, Hogarth, Latina Studio and Hernández Dream-Photography all helped us to make our vision a reality. We wanted to go further in each of these projects and that reach is now being recognized by the industry.”
“It’s good to see the high caliber of ideas being generated in some of these new disciplines that have been introduced at the festivals – disciplines, such as data and commerce, that we have been handling for a long time as part of our portfolio of services,” added Geometry Mexico’s creative general director Mauricio Granillo.
The last few months have seen a string of award wins for Geometry Mexico including El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and most recently Silver and Bronze at the ECHO Latam awards.
