Geometry Colombia Appoints New Digital and Data and Planning VPs

Geometry has been evolving from omnichannel strategies to commerce. Betting on this model as the backbone of the value added to its customers, Geometry is evolving its structure with Henry Ramirez as VP of digital and data and Sebastian Gutierrez as VP of planning.

Sebastián started in the world of marketing, from the field of research at Kantar, where he quickly climbed to the point of leading neuromarketing tools and regional studies at a qualitative level.

From his brand new position, Sebastián says: "I started as a planner four years ago, and this is my first promotion in the agency. Thanks to British American Tobacco I was able to obtain greater visibility and a regional scope, besides starting to win awards. New business is the main contribution, in addition to the organisational culture focused on PARCE where the "p" stands for passion. This new stage makes me feel even happier, getting out of your comfort zone means that you are still on the journey and continue to learn. The same happens with the new business unit - the team, the tools, the method, the awards - we are prepared for the change in the company."

Henry started 14 years ago at the agency, where he began as mobile marketing coordinator. He then travelled to Australia before returning as director of innovation. Later, he took on a role as account director, which allowed him to train in customer service, consulting and experiential. 

Now as VP of digital, he says: "Regardless of the position I have, I hope to continue contributing to the business and feel useful. Undoubtedly the best contribution in this new position will be to consolidate and launch new digital products and services. A good example is data. We will be launching five new products together with the media, experiential, development and PM teams.
