Jeremy joins Geometry from Kantar Consulting Europe as CEO

Geometry, WPP’s end-to-end Creative Commerce agency announces the arrival of Jeremy Cohen as SVP consulting, EMEA. Effective immediately, Jeremy will be located in London.

Jeremy Cohen joins Geometry Global from Kantar, where he was formerly CEO for Kantar Consulting Europe. He brings with him a wealth of experience in building Consultancy and Technology businesses that meet the rapidly changing needs of clients. His role in Geometry will focus on developing and scaling Geometry’s Commerce Consultancy services, enabling clients to identify and deliver Commerce focused growth opportunities and go to market strategies.

The newly created Geometry role comes in response to an increased interest from clients in helping to navigate the new Commerce landscape. Consumer purchasing behaviour has changed substantially, making current models less effective and in many cases, obsolete. As clients and brands look to develop new spaces and places for growth, the role of commerce has risen to the top of the business agenda.

Geometry’s Commerce Consultancy is designed to advise and support Commercial Leaders and brands on all elements of the Conversion Growth Drivers within their business strategy. Responding to current trends and in anticipation of market demand, Geometry is enhancing the agency’s offering across a number of key areas, helping answer critical client questions, such as ‘How can I find and access growth across different markets and channels’, and ‘How do I deliver it in the most effective way’. Geometry combines the science of data analytics, with outstanding creativity and a deep understanding of shopper behaviours. This is underpinned with leading edge technologies, tools and approaches to provide clients with innovative Creative Commerce solutions. The service launches initially across the EMEA region with plans to roll out across the global network.

‘We’ve been getting requests from our clients on ways to ‘help them grow’ through new commerce opportunities or better leveraging existing ones. They are looking for support in updating their strategies and maximising their potential. We have been working for the last few months on shaping and building the capabilities required to address this need. A new era for Geometry starts with Jeremy joining our mission to re-imagine commerce and to become an authority in the Creative Commerce arena. This move underpins our commitment and elevates our existing consulting and strategy offering to the next level – challenging the norms and transforming our industry,' commented Claus Adams, EMEA CEO.

On his new role Jeremy said: “Working with Geometry to help clients think differently, and act differently, in order to differentiate and convert in a fragmented environment is incredibly exciting. Geometry is at the forefront of understanding how consumer and shopper journeys are changing, especially in a post Covid world. This requires a dynamic and transformational approach to how companies drive growth through Commerce, changing their business models, and re-framing their category opportunities across consumer and shopper touchpoints.”
