On the advertising front, Gemma has worked with brands including Google, NAB, YouTube, Myer, Destination NSW, ASICS, Optus, HCF, The Sydney Opera House and Bendigo Bank, and in 2019 produced the award-winning Country Pub Project campaign for Airbnb while working with VERSUS.
Gemma said: “I’m excited to join the passionate team at Emotive, I think they are some of the most dynamic and creative people in the industry. My motivation has always been to make inspiring work with talented people so this feels like the perfect role and company for me. I look forward to continuing to create and carve out excellent work with the team, building on the foundations they have set.”
Katrina Maw, executive producer Emotive Productions said: “Emotive is uniquely positioned with a full service production company built specifically for working with brands directly, on the right projects. Whether it is film, print, product innovation, events or experiences the ambition is to always deliver work that changes how people feel about brands. Gemma’s breadth of experience perfectly fits the mould to help us deliver on that ambition. She is a great talent, fantastic collaborator and will be an amazing addition to our team.”
Gemma’s appointment comes on the back of continued growth for the Sydney agency, with an expanding client base including Optus, Audible, ModiBodi, Pernod Ricard, Unilever, Mount Franklin, HelloFresh, Google, ATC, YoPRO, and ARN.
Gemma commenced on 24 May 2021 and will be based out of the Emotive Beach House in Sydney.
