This week, Grand Central Recording Studios (GCRS) has won a gold and bronze award for sound, at the Kinsale Sharks Creative Awards, in addition to a bronze award for Sound Design at this year’s Clio Awards.
At the Sharks, GCRS achieved a gold in the Best Use of Sound (Promo) category for BBC Radio 1
Music Reboot, with sound design and final mix created by Munzie Thind.
GCRS also scored a bronze Film award in the Best Use of Music / Sound Design category with The Imperial War Museum’s
Flight of the Stories, the sound design and mix for this film was created by Ben Leeves.
Additionally, GCRS has been awarded bronze in Sound Design at the 55th Annual Clio Awards, which takes place in New York next month. Munzie Thind created the sound design and mix for
Sensory Overload, an inspirational 70 second film that effectively uses disturbing soundscapes to highlight sensory sensitivity, disrupt the listener, and raise awareness of autism.
