Publicis poaches Anomaly New York's partner and chief strategy officer

Publicis announced today that it has tapped Gareth Goodall as chief strategy officer, Publicis Creative, US. Based in New York and reporting to Andrew Swinand, CEO of Publicis Groupe Creative and CEO of The Leo Burnett Group. Goodall will oversee strategy across all Publicis Groupe's creative agencies in the US - including iconic agencies such as Leo Burnett, Saatchi and Saatchi, and Fallon - effective immediately.

Most recently, Goodall served as partner and chief strategy officer of Anomaly New York. With more than two decades of experience, Goodall's extensive accolades include being named AdAge's North American Creative Strategist Of The Year, one of The Independent's 100 most influential people in British creative industries, and one of Campaign Faces To Watch & London's 10 Best Planners.

A Publicis boomerang, Goodall previously held roles as head of planning at Saatchi & Saatchi New York and Fallon. Throughout his career, his extensive client experience includes Google, YouTube, Diageo, SONY, New York Life, Converse, Orange, AXA, Ben & Jerry's, GSK, Kohl's, Panera, JP Morgan Chase, Budweiser, Ally Bank, Coca-Cola, and Unilever.
