Gaelic Players Association Shows Hurlers’ Human Side
The new campaign for the Gaelic Players Association has launched around a film to raise awareness of the sporting association and build buzz as the sport returns to Fenway Park in Boston for the Players Champions Cup. 

Created by Connelly Partners, the idea for the player-run body revolves around the tagline: “You see Players; We See People” and showcases the GPA through interviews with GPA and WGPA hurlers from past and present, discussing life both on and off the pitch and demonstrating the lengths they’ve each gone to to represent their club and country.

It’s a warm-hearted film directed by Max Esposito, encapsulating the Boston and Dublin-based agency’s “defiantly human” ethos.

The campaign will be supported primarily by digital and social drove record numbers to the games in Boston.
